Marie Via

Marie and her husband James have lived in their 1912 bungalow at the edge of Highland Park for three decades. She recently retired from a 33-year career at the Memorial Art Gallery, where she was director of Exhibitions. Now her time is devoted to puttering in a large garden, reading, traveling, cataloging her husband's lifetime body of photographs, and plotting out the family tree. She is proud to be one of the dedicated volunteers of the Conservancy, working to preserve and share the Olmsted legacy in Rochester.
