Marie Via

Marie and her husband James have lived in their 1912 bungalow at the edge of Highland Park for three decades. She recently retired from a 33-year career at the Memorial Art Gallery, where she was director of Exhibitions. Now her time is devoted to puttering in a large garden, reading, traveling, cataloging her husband's lifetime body of work, and plotting out the family tree. She is excited to join the Conservancy efforts in preserving and sharing the Olmsted Legacy in Rochester.
