Rebuilding the Children's Pavilion
The Children's Pavilion, designed for Highland Park by Frederick Law Olmsted, was dedicated to the children of our community in 1891. For 65 years, it was the showcase of Highland Park and a community gathering place. In 1963, it was taken down because it had fallen into disrepair. Our special project is to rebuild the Children's Pavilion, thus restoring it to the Park and to our community.
