The Postcard collection gives us more wonderful views of Highland Park. The majority of the collection is dated between 1903 and 1918, with a small group from the 1950s and 1960s. The earlier group is park scenes. The original photos were black and white and then hand-colored: many skillfully done, some "not so much." In some versions visitors were even added!

The three aerial shots from the 1950s look from Highland Avenue north-northeast towards the Children's Pavilion; they are invaluable records of the plant collections of that era. The later group is beauty shots of the Park with some Lilac Time advertising pieces.
Note that the dates in the titles refer to the Postmark dates, not when the cards were produced.
