Highland Park with skyline.jpg

Let’s take a walk together.

Highland Park Conservancy welcomes you to Highland Park, a 19th-century public landscape designed by the legendary Frederick Law Olmsted .

Designed to offer much more than beautiful scenery, every path, garden, and view reflects Olmsted’s vision of a public space where people from all walks of life gather, connect, and share in the common good. We invite you to explore, enjoy, and engage to help ensure our park continues to serve our community and demonstrate what we can achieve and sustain together.

Did you know there are tons of volunteer
opportunities in the park?

It’s easy to get started, and the people are awesome. Plus, you’re in Highland Park!

Getting here

Highland Park contains several city streets, including Highland Avenue, Reservoir Avenue, South Avenue, and Goodman Street. You can find us via GPS/Maps apps, and street parking is well-marked. During the Lilac Festival, we highly recommend taking available shuttles, as street parking is extremely limited and paid lots fill up quickly.

Accessibility: All paths and sidewalks use ramps and are accessible to those walking, as well as those using wheelchairs and other assistive equipment. Walking off the paved areas is not recommended unless you are comfortable hiking on uneven terrain.
