Marc Bauer has combined his lifelong passion for gardening, nature, and service with his commitment to strengthening community connections. What began at age 15, when he built a native raised garden bed with his babysitting earnings, has grown into decades of sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with family, friends, and neighbors. Professionally, Marc serves as a trainer with Wegmans Food Markets, where he develops and supports team members across the company. He brings these skills to his volunteer and community work, enhancing the camaraderie  and accomplishments of the volunteers he works with. Marc lives near Highland Park with his husband and their two rescued fur kids, and he is committed to using his skills and passion to support the mission of the Conservancy. He serves as chair of the Program Committee.
